Pay across borders, in crypto
International deals should not wait days for a wire to clear. On IGT, crypto is an optional payment rail alongside bank transfers: members can pay each other wallet-to-wallet, and platform charges can be settled in crypto too. You choose the rail — the deal keeps moving.
Two ways crypto works on IGT
Crypto on IGT is a means of payment, not an investment product. It covers the two money flows every partnership has.
Between members
Every member can register crypto wallets on their payment profile, next to their bank accounts. When a payment inside a partnership falls due — an invoice, a milestone, a settlement — the payer can send directly to the counterparty's registered wallet: no correspondent banks, no international wire fees, no waiting for banking hours.
Toward IGT
The platform's own charges — the partnership fee, the RWA fee and the success fee — can also be settled in crypto. Same amounts, same rules, same invoices through the workspace; only the rail changes.
How it works
Crypto payments follow the same discipline as everything else on IGT: identified parties, agreed terms and a documented trail.
-
1
Register your wallets
Add your crypto wallets to the payment profile in your account — the currency or token and the address. They sit alongside your bank accounts as your official payment details on the platform.
-
2
Agree the rail
The parties decide how each payment will move — bank transfer or crypto, and in which currency or token. What the contract and the invoice state is what applies.
-
3
Send wallet-to-wallet
The payer sends directly to the wallet registered on the counterparty's profile. Funds move between the parties — IGT never holds your crypto and never asks for your keys.
-
4
Record it in the workspace
Confirm the payment in the partnership workspace with its transaction reference. The on-chain record plus the workspace trail keep every payment auditable for both sides.
Why crypto for cross-border trade
For international operations, crypto solves real problems that traditional rails still have.
Minutes, not days
On-chain transfers settle in minutes, while international wires can take days and lose value along the way.
No correspondent chain
The payment goes straight from wallet to wallet — no intermediary banks each taking their cut of the transfer.
Always open
Blockchains do not close on weekends or holidays. A deal that signs on Friday evening can pay on Friday evening.
Stablecoins for stability
Parties who want crypto speed without price swings can agree on stablecoins pegged to the dollar or other currencies.
A trail by design
Every on-chain payment leaves a public, permanent record that matches the invoice in your workspace.
Reach where banks are slow
When the counterparty's banking corridor is slow or expensive, crypto gives the deal a rail that works anyway.
Good practices we hold everyone to
- Verify the address and the network before sending: a payment sent to the wrong address or on the wrong network cannot be recovered.
- For large amounts, send a small test transaction first and confirm receipt with the counterparty through the workspace.
- Prefer stablecoins for deal payments unless both parties have expressly agreed to accept the volatility of another asset.
- Keep your keys yours. IGT never custodies funds and will never ask for your private keys or seed phrase — anyone who does is not IGT.

Important information: Cryptocurrency values can fluctuate and transactions on public blockchains are irreversible. IGT is not an exchange, does not custody crypto assets and does not provide investment, legal or tax advice. Each party is responsible for the legal, tax and regulatory treatment of crypto payments in its own jurisdiction, and for verifying that this payment method is lawful for it. The contract signed by the parties prevails over this general description.
