Roadmap, milestones and tasks

Platform Guide Updated Oct 06, 2026

What the roadmap is

The roadmap is the plan of your partnership: a list of milestones (the big steps) and, inside each one, tasks (the concrete work). You find it in the Roadmap tab of the Workspace.

Proposed and official roadmap

  • Proposed roadmap: each party can propose its own steps. It is a way to tell the coordinator how you see the plan.
  • Official roadmap: the coordinator (or an administrator) builds the official roadmap, taking both proposals into account.

Approving the official roadmap

When the official roadmap is ready, the coordinator submits it for approval. You receive a notification and an email, and you can:

  • Approve it, or
  • Reject it, so the coordinator revises it.

The roadmap is approved only when both parties approve it. If it changes and is submitted again, a new approval is needed.

Tasks

Tasks unlock once the roadmap is approved by both parties. From then on, each party can add tasks to the milestones, assign them, set due dates and mark them as completed.

When all the tasks of a milestone are done, the milestone is completed.

"The project requires your attention"

If you still have open tasks in a milestone and your partner has already finished their part, you receive a short notice: "The project requires your attention". Open the Workspace to see what is pending. For confidentiality, the notice itself does not include names or details.
