Where to find them
Every partnership has its contracts in the Documents tab of the Workspace. Click Open on a contract to read it.
All contracts are electronic
Contracts are prepared, reviewed and signed on the platform. Once signed, each party can keep a PDF copy (see Keeping a copy below).
Who prepares the contract
The contract is prepared by an administrator or the coordinator of your partnership. There are two ways:
- From our templates (contract, annex, power of attorney or personal guarantee). Your names, companies, the project name, the date and a contract number are filled in automatically.
- From a text you send. If you or your partner already have a contract text, upload it (PDF, Word, text or image) in the Documents tab of the Workspace. The coordinator reviews it and, once they approve it, incorporates it into the electronic contract of the partnership.
Partners cannot edit the clauses themselves, but they can comment on them.
Contract stages
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Draft | The coordinator is preparing the text. |
| Review | You can read it and leave comments on specific clauses. |
| Active | The text is final and the Sign buttons appear for each party. |
| Signed | Both parties have signed: the contract is fully executed. |
Comments
During review, add a comment under any clause to ask a question or propose a change. Comments appear next to the clause and in the side panel, so everyone sees the discussion.
Formal approval
Sometimes the coordinator asks for a formal approval before the contract becomes active. You then receive a request to:
- Approve the contract,
- Request changes, or
- Reject it,
with an optional comment. Depending on how it was set up, the approval of everyone, of one person, or of a minimum number of people is needed. If anyone rejects or asks for changes, the contract goes back to draft so it can be corrected.
Signing
When the contract is active, click Sign and sign by hand on the screen (with your mouse, finger or stylus). The signature is stored with a record of who signed and when. When both parties have signed, the contract becomes Signed.
Keeping a copy
Once the contract is signed, each party can download a PDF copy: open the contract, click Print and choose Save as PDF as the printer.
After signing
Once both parties have signed, the RWA fee invoice is prepared (see IGT fees and invoices).
